Glenn Polley
Glenn was first introduced to shiatsu in 1994 after several years studying macrobiotics, food energetics and qigong. He completed a 3 year practitioner diploma with the British School of Shiatsu-Do in London in early 1998. He then repeated the entire 3 year course as a teaching assistant as well as undertaking a 2 year post-graduate diploma with the Mi Zai Shiatsu Institute from Italy.
It has been the post-graduate study with the Mi Zai Institute that has been integral in forming his unique style of Zen Shiatsu. In addition to his more formal studies he has spent time studying with some of the UK and Europe's leading teachers of shiatsu. He moved to Melbourne from London with his family in 2005. Since arriving in Australia he has been teaching post-graduate workshops around Australia.
He is currently a member of the National Council for the Shiatsu Therapy Association of Australia with a keen interest in working towards a strong, vibrant and harmonious community that is aligned with a common vision for the profile and practice of shiatsu.
Glenn runs a private practice in Thornbury and Caulfield South at EastWest.College. To book an appointment with him, please contact him directly:
